Maison Ode

A gifting ritual for a Parisian perfumer: identity, rigid boxes and a wax-sealed card that turns opening a bottle into a small ceremony.

A house with a story and no ritual

Maison Ode had beautiful perfumes and a loyal clientele, but its bottles arrived in generic boxes that said nothing about the house. Gifting made up half of its sales, yet the moment of opening felt like an afterthought.

We were asked to design an identity and packaging system that made every purchase feel like a present, without tipping into luxury cliché.

What we set out to change

The goal was simple to say and hard to do: make the box something people keep.
